Business Development Manager
**Role**
A public listed company in logistic solutions. Along with their active business expansion, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to establish new business of Air & Ocean Freight, maintain & grow existing customers in International Logistics business division.
Job Responsibilities
- To support planning, marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop business primarily International business in Malaysia major/key accounts & Mid-size companies
- Identify and promote Logistics services with targeted customers to ensure positive end result of successful specifications.
- Prospect for new accounts and seek opportunities to increase saturation of existing ones and increase market share.
- Be knowledgeable on Air & Sea Freight, customs brokerage & local transport services.
- Keep up to date with global forwarding and logistics market and competitors trends. - Monitor and track projects with the use of company value added services.
- Maintain relations with clients by providing support, information and quality service at all times.
- Communicate regularly with Sales Team on development plans and regular follow ups with them
- Support & monitor the sales teams progress and review performance with the Sales Director on monthly basis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5- 7 years in logistic business development, freight forwarding sales.
- Degree / Higher education Diploma
- This is a hunter role to establish and expand new client relationship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs
- Good negotiation & problem solving skills
- Willing to be based in Shah Alam office.
- Possess own transport & willing to travel

- Attractive remuneration - Basic salary plus Allowances up to RM 1k+.
- Sales incentive scheme (to be disclosed by the hiring manager in interview)
**Salary**: RM6,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
