JOB DESCRIPTION : Account Manager

- Overview full set of accounts for the Company.

Review monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly performance report, analysis of accounts, management/statutory reporting.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial reports and compliance with the Company's policies and accounting standards.

Prepare and Review annual budget, periodic forecast of cash flows/financial results and monitor actual performance against budget.

Identify issues and make proposals to align with corporate process and continuous improvements to achieve the Company's goals and objectives.

To assist in the implementation and monitoring of the operational procedures/systems.

Ensure all regulatory reporting and filing obligations are met, including liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers and other statutory authorities on internal & external audit matters.

Custodian of Company assets and assist in controlling Company expenses.

Assist in any ad hoc assignments as assigned by superior.

Key Competencies:
Accounting: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Budgeting: Develop and manage the organisation’s budget and monitor performance against budget targets through variance analysis.

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support the organisation’s strategic goals. Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, financial reports, and presentations to stakeholders, including management, boards of directors, and external parties.

Treasury Management: Oversee the organisation’s cash flow and liquidity, including managing bank relationships and negotiating loan agreements.

Financial Management Systems and Processes: Evaluate and improve the organisation’s finance management systems and processes, including the use of financial software and financial analysis tools.

Risk Management: Identify and evaluate financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate or manage those risks.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including GAAP, tax laws, and banking regulations.

Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of finance professionals, including financial analysts and accountants.

Business Partnership: Partner with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to understand their financial needs and provide financial insights and guidance.

**Requirements**:
Possess at least Degree in Accounting or Finance. Those pursuing professional course such as ACCA, CAT, CIMA will also be considered.

Prefer to have experience in IFRS - International Financial Reporting Standards

Minimum 3-5 years of managerial experiences.

Possess a strategic mind set with high level of integrity, ethics and results driven.

Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent participatory management skills, effective team-builder with high accountability for his/her actions.

Required skills: Microsoft Words & Excel.

An analytical mind

Must be technically competent in accounting standards and practices including corporate governance and formulation of Standard Operating Procedures for compliance.

Able to work within tight deadlines and lead the Team

Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

Commercial and business awareness

Good communication skills - both written and verbal

A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data

Ability to stick to time constraints

Organization and multi-tasking skills.

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
