**Responsibilities**:
- Review and moderate user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, to ensure compliance with community guidelines and legal requirements.
- Identify and escalate content that violates policies, including spam, hate speech, harassment, and other inappropriate material.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in content moderation decisions.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve content moderation processes and policies.
- Collaborate with the content moderation team and other departments to address emerging issues and trends.
- Stay updated on relevant cultural, social, and political developments in Japan to ensure culturally sensitive moderation.
- Assist in developing and maintaining documentation and training materials for content moderation.
**Requirements**:
- Native proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Japanese culture, social norms, and current events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in using content moderation tools and software is a plus.
