Reservation Assistant

To relieve and assist the Reservation Manager as required.
- To take and maintain up-to date accurate reservation records.
- To ensure that all reservations received are immediately recorded and entered into the computer system and that the reservation status is always up to date.
- To compile daily, weekly, monthly reports as per hotel policy.
- To prepare the following days reservations to be reviewed by the Front Desk.
- To maintain Waitlist and monitor closely on Cut-Off date.
- To regularly review the written communication for sales leads and to advise the Sales Department of any leads that may be found.
- To handle all guest comments or complaints relating to the services of the Reservations Department and take necessary action.
- To maintain and update the guest history files and to merge and purge data in liaison with the Front Office Management.
- To ensure that the hotel policy is adhered to at all times.
- To maintain and constantly improve the image of the Reservation Department.
- To always up sell tower block or to the next category-suite to achieve or exceed the forecasted average room rate.
- To enter and process reservations and confirmations for the hotel.
- To record all inquiries not booked.
- To maintain an accurate filing system.
- To maintain the group files and prepare the group rooming lists as required.
- To prepare the daily arrival list and check all reservations against the special requirements, update traces and correspondence details.
- To maintain and update Sales Office KL information and room inventory on a regular basis.
- To provide accurate information about all resorts, their service and facilities.
- To maintain and update the guest profile and history on a regular basis.
- To maintain and update company, travel agent, source profiles on regular basis thus provide accurate information as required.
- To comply instruction or assignment given by Department Head and Reservation Manager when requested.

**Job requirements**:

- Possess a minimum SPM qualification.
- Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent command of written and spoken in Bahasa and English to meet business needs.
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in crisis management.
- Able to work during weekend, peak time and public holiday.
- This role will be based in Lotus Desaru, Johor

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
