**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
- Lead a team to process insurance claims, review claims documentation, assess coverage, and determine claim validity - in adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Communicate with the insured, with sales and partnership teams, corporate clients, partners and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Investigate and evaluate claims to ensure compliance with policy terms and conditions.
- Lead a team to perform tasks associated with claims & servicing processes such as policy endorsements, client policy endorsements, and the generation of quotations, bills, and invoices.
- Provide prompt and courteous assistance to policyholders regarding claims inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim records and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to claims processing and customer service.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
**WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, finance, insurance) is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in claims processing or insurance servicing roles in a corporate direct, brokerage, or other intermediary capacities.
- Current team lead experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, terms, and coverage. Knowledge in all classes of business, in particular Personal Accident, Employee Benefits, All Risks, and Fire.
- Strong inner drive to achieve and challenge the insurance status quo.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to assess claim validity and accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
