Depot Supervisor

._**POSITION TITLE **:_Depot Supervisor
- **REPORTS TO**:_Manager, National Operations
- **LOCATIONS **:_Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia
- **PURPOSE OF POSITION**:_
- Manage and run day to day pallet repair production at Loscam Depot.
- Solving and handling production issue which include tools and equipment maintenance, manpower arrangement, depot facilities maintenance and etc.
- Implement, provide training and enforcement of safety and health policy in the depot.
- Stock control and management for consumable, spare parts, tools and etc.
- Waste management and overall 5S implementation in the depot.
- Outsource workers benefit & compensations management.
- Manage shift supervisor duties and assignment
- **PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES**:_
- Ensure quality and production output set by management can be achieved.
- Ensure all productions problem to be resolved and sufficient tools and facilities at the depot to run repair pallet production at the depot efficiently.
- Ensure all safety guidelines in the depot being followed by all the staff and PPE being wear all the time in the depot area.
- Ensure sufficient consumable such as timber, nail, paint and saw blade to run repair line productions and accuracy of consumable and spare parts / tools stock.
- Participate and provide solutions to sales /customer service team in term of customer complaint.
- Ensure a safe working area.
- Supervise and manage productions to achieve production and quality target.
- Ensuring a healthy and safe working environment and support cost effective operational activities.
- Manpower management to achieve cost effective production output.
- Manage volunteers and interns as necessary to achieve position objectives.
- Perform other duties as required
- **LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENT**:_
- Able to lead and manage a large group (>100) workers at the production floor.
- Understand in depth the whole process of pallet repairing and able to provide training to the newcomer.
- Work in team and support all the colleagues to achieve better result.
- **PERFORMANCE MEASURES**:_
- Quality and output target
- Customer complaints
- Safety and health incident in depot
- Productions downtime due to equipment, tools or facilities
- **POSITIONS REQUIREMENT**:_
- At least 3 years working experience in pallet or wood industry in the role of productions.
- Minimum diploma holder or SPM graduate with more than 5 years working experience
- Must be fit and healthy.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills with foreign worker and work as a team.
- Willing to work long hours and on weekend to ensure operations running smooth.
- Able to work in shift environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 2 years (required)
- Supply chain management: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Bahasa Malaysia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
