**POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY**

Execute and supervise the operation and maintenance works and ensuring the works done are accordingly to the specified maintenance standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

**ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS**
- Adhere and execute the operation and maintenance to ensure highest level of system availability and reliability.
- Abide by Company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, local/international regulations and legislations, quality management system, EMS, OHSAS, Green Globe 21 and any other certifications.
- Maintain data and information accurately for reporting on the assigned airport systems and facilities.
- Assist prepares and implements the yearly budget (OPEX and CAPEX).
- Develop staff competency and skill in order to improve the effectiveness of operation and maintenance activities.
- Keep abreast of new technology in order to properly plan for future enhancement and efficiency improvement of the assigned airport system and facilities.
- Participation on the special projects in order to ensure the assigned airport system and facilities requirements are properly addressed.
- Trouble shooting efficiently and timely during any system crisis and emergency situation.
- Supervise the project and contract management.
- Maintain technical data and inputs for continuous improvement action

**Key Challenges**:

- Entry operation and maintenance data timely.
- Optimum usage of the available resources for operation and maintenance activities
- Fully utilize IT tools i.e. SAP, CMMS.
- Lack of skill at airports; people competency and people development
- Keeps abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries

- Must have good understanding and experience in all areas of Electrical Engineering.
- Must have good communication and presentation skills.
- A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- A team player who can build positive relation at all levels.
- Result oriented.
- Possess leadership qualities with strong analytical mind

**Relevant Industries**:
**Internal**
- Diploma holder without relevent working experience
- Certificate/STPM with minimum 5 years relevant working experience
- SPM holder with minimum 7 years relevant working experience
- Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and minimum Meet Expectations / C

**External**

Diploma holder with minimum CGPA of
- 2.8
- Certificate/STPM with atleast 3 principals

**Education**:
**Internal**
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/ Engineering OR
- Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering / Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia OR
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia

**External**
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/ Engineering OR
- Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering / Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia OR
