**Overview**:
Responsible to improve and optimize the day-to-day operations of our production (including Pre-treatment, Renewal Fuel, and Hydrogen Production), optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and implementing efficiency improvements to maximize production output.

Key Scope:

- Technical expertise in respective unit; assist PU Manager in developing short/mid-term strategy including budgeting, OPEX/CAPEX
- Monitor process unit performance and optimize process performance
- Integrate other disciplines for detailed technical troubleshooting (RCA, Causal learning, etc) and advises
- Raise minor MOC to improve operation performance

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead minor projects to upgrade equipment, implement new technologies, and enhance production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain operating procedures and guidelines to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and procedures.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Prepare reports on refinery production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommendations for improvement.
- Carry out ad-hoc assignments as determined by management.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field with more than 10 years experiences; or Min. Diploma with more than 15 proven experience as a Production/Process Engineer/Specialist in a refinery or petrochemical/Oleochemical plant.
- Hydro processing & Distillation, SMR (Steam methane reforming), Oleochemical process would be an added advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of refinery processes, equipment, and operations.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and production management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
- Experience with process optimization, debottlenecking, and turnaround planning is a plus.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
