**Working mode**: On-site (Johor)

**Responsibilities**:

- Additionally, this role will assist with the setup and implementation of the financial elements of the SAP ERP system for the region.
- Manage monthly financial reporting and analysis process to deliver accurate and meaningful financial reporting. Includes preparing financial reports and account reconciliations.
- Assist US parent company with financial reporting and consolidation.
- Assist SAP implementation team with solution design and delivery for APAC region.
- Assist in Testing of ERP Solution.
- o Participate in the solution delivery during the go live/ implementation phase.
- o Support the business post go-live during “hyper-care” support phase.
- Assist Plant Manager on key administrative functions for Jahor facility.
- Responsible for regular audits and tax compliance work, maintain good communication with external auditors, tax agents, and local tax authorities, and timely and compliant tax declaration and accounting processing.
- Establish and oversee accounting procedures including cash management (banking), procure to pay process, customer credit evaluation, collections and other accounting functions.
- Assists with annual statutory audit for start-up Malaysia and Singapore entities.
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place.
- Comprehensive financial business during the plant set up period, requiring multitasking including invoicing, fund collection and payment, accounting, and other work assigned by the leadership.

**Requirements/ Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- More than 5 years’ of working experience in a finance management position.
- Experience with a global manufacturing company with exposure to international issues a plus.
- Experience with ERP financial systems (SAP) a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, including ability to create macros and vlookups and utilize basic spreadsheet analytics with data, sorting and formulas.
- Agent of change - able to recognize people, process and technology gaps to create change for desired outcomes consistent with company’s vision.
- Communication skills - ability to articulate vision; ability to manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy.
- Work ethic - enjoys working in a fast-paced environment; ability to manage multiple priorities; ability to operate in a relatively lean environment; roll-up-the-sleeves mentality.
- Integrity - ability to handle highly confidential information.

**Other Requirements**:

- Ability to understand the big picture and company strategy while also paying attention to details.
- Required to work efficiently and accurately with mínimal supervision. Has a strong ability to show initiative and be a problem solver.
- Ability to travel (US and internationally).
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
