- Intel Corporation chose Penang as its first offshore site outside of the US in 1972. Since then, Intel Malaysia has grown from a workforce of just 100 to about 12,000 today, and next year will be celebrating 50 years of operation in the country. Intel's initial investment of RM 1.6 million has also grown to over RM25 billion
- from what was once a memory chip assembly plant into one of Intel's most complex sites, that delivers multi-functional operations including assembly test manufacturing, design and development competencies, global shared services capabilities, as well as regional sales and marketing.
- As a company, Intel is doubling down to expand its manufacturing network, building new Advanced Packaging Technology capability to meet the accelerating global demand for semiconductors. Malaysia is a crucial leg of the company's supply chain and has played a key role in supporting our customer needs while increasing supply to meet the growing demand. As part of Intel's recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy and building on its strong foundation laid close to five decades ago, Intel is continuing to invest in and expand its existing facilities in Malaysia.
- Job Details: Job Description: As the Supply Line Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Converting manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics related to inventory health optimization, streamlined reliable services, and supplier delivery performance.
- Coordinating purchasing activities such as generating, managing, and reconciling forecasts and schedules.
- Monitoring the acquisition of materials in support of ramping factories, sustaining factories, and dispositioning of materials for end-of-life factories.
- Managing commodities by creating predictive analysis techniques and providing business insights through data analytics.
- Analyzing supply vs. demand to make purchasing decisions.
- Owning reconciling and managing the payments including any warranty, remedies, and credits.
- Negotiating with suppliers on material/tool delivery, prioritization, and expedites.
- Managing the internal stakeholder needs with the supplier capabilities.
- Driving and participating in the development of system/process improvements and supply chain solutions across organizational teams.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field of study AND/OR 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Factory/Supply Chain.
- Excel and Data proficiency.
- Supplier management and negotiation skills.
