1. Collect, filling production shift report and update in SIMs on all daily information and activities from shift report and to ensure accuracy of the daily production transaction in SAP against the shift report. 2. Update all downtime to the SIMs. 3. Cross check the shift report transaction by workers against the transaction in SAP to ensure stock accuracy. 4. Summarise the shift report by end of the month as per standardised format. 5. Update all wire break and short length coil and the root cause of the short length coil generated. 6. Update all attendance of production workers. 7. Liaise with production supervisor and engineer for daily production activities and monthly stock check. 8. Lead manufacturing office 5S. 9. Cultivate and practise 5S at work place and adhere to 5S rules and standards of the organisation to achieve continuous improvement in productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, morale and working environment. 10. Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Incorporated on 27 Feb 1980, Southern PC Steel Sdn Bhd (SPC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern Steel Berhad, listed in Bursa Malaysia. The group is a member of the Hong Leong Group. The company is principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of pre-stressed concrete strands, wires, bars and other related products. The company mission “To be a World Class Pre-stressed Concrete Steel Manufacturing Company”. The company had embarked on Total Productivity Management program. This expected to enhance performance improvement via systematic approach to problem solving. Expected to contribute positively to lower downtime and improved productivity. The company had also invested in human resources capital via more intensive training for skill development to support future expansion. SPC's export close to 50% of its products to various countries such as USA, Australia, Vietnam, Taiwan and Singapore, etc. The company continues to explore new markets in order to further increase its production and also improve cost efficiency. The company had obtained certification from Sirim for ASTM, MS, BS standard for all its products. For export market, it has obtained The Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels (ACRS) for export to Australia and New Zealand. SPC complied with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO9001 Sirim Standard. It products are in compliance with CIBD Malaysia Standard on construction material manufacturing.
