As a Human Resource Partner specializing in South East Asia, you will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with regional employment laws and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of the local business landscape and cultural nuances, as well as the ability to implement HR best practices that contribute to organizational success.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Strategic HR Planning:

- Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Analyse regional workforce trends, competition, and industry benchmarks to inform HR

initiatives.

2. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

- Support recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers and talent acquisition team to attract, select, and onboard top talent.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local universities, recruitment agencies, and

industry networks.

3. Employee Relations:

- Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee relations matters, fostering a positive work environment.

4. Performance Management:

- Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues and recognizing high-performing employees.

5. Learning and Development:

- Identify training needs and collaborate with HR and business leaders to implement development programs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development to enhance employee capabilities.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

- Partner with global compensation teams to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
- Stay informed about local market trends to provide recommendations on salary and

benefits adjustments.

7. Compliance and Legal:

- Stay abreast of regional employment laws and regulations, ensuring company
- Compliance.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and manage local labor relations.

8. HR Analytics:

- Utilize HR analytics to measure and report on key HR metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor workforce trends to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.

9. Operations and Systems:

- Update the internal systems to ensure internal compliance.
- Vendor identification and management to ensure optimal utilisation of existing systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of HR experience, with a focus on South East Asia.
- In-depth knowledge of regional employment laws and cultural dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in talent Management, employee relations, and performance management.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Experience in the education industry

Location: This position is based in Ho Chi Minh - Vietnam or Malaysia and may require occasional travel within the region.
