Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia FURAMA HOTEL BUKIT BINTANG Full time

Direct and co-ordinate the activities of Housekeeping and Laundry and ensure overall smooth operations in rooms, public areas, linen, laundry and dry cleaning sections in the Hotel.

2.2 Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and efficiency while achieving guest satisfaction.

2.3 Assign duties and shifts to staff and supervise their works to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures established by the Hotel.

2.4 Maintain constant checks of service standards to assure continuing expected standards of the Hotel's service and quality.

2.5 Confer and co-operate with other Department Heads to ensure co-ordination of activities especially with Front Office, Security, Engineering, Food and Beverage and Finance.

2.6 Daily check on the department communication book and decide necessary action to be taken on matters mentioned therein and inform the Management of those outside his authority.

2.7 Investigate complaints of guests, damage and report the same.

2.8 Responsible for developing and implementing training programs and continuous training on the job for staff in areas under his responsibilities. Coordinate training efforts with the Human Resource Department.

2.9 Attend the daily operation Department Heads' briefing and conduct the daily Department briefing with his staff.

2.10 Coordinate with the Human Resource Department in selecting the staff for his department and submit to the Management any recruitment requests.

2.11 Comply to assignments as set by Management.

2.12 Responsible for keeping good morale and enforcing staff discipline under his supervision.

2.13 Ensure all Housekeeping function is in order.

2.14 Be fully aware of the emergency procedures, policies and operating procedures as established by the Hotel.

2.15 Perform all duties as directed by the General Manager and/or Rooms Division Manager.

3.1 Knowledge and skills

Thorough knowledge of the guest services and Housekeeping operation in the

Hotel.

3.2 Education, training qualifications

University/Diploma graduate.

3.3 Experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in Housekeeping.

3.4 Personality

Pleasant, honest, diligent and independent disposition.

3.5 Physical requirements

Fit and healthy.

3.6 Age

Minimum 29 years old.

3.7 Language

Fluent in English and local dialect.

**Salary**: RM8,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
