Receiving Clerk

Responsible for perpetual inventory record of all daily receipt and issue.
- To issue stock according to the approved “Store Requisition Form”
- To maintain “Par Stock Level” for all stock under the care.
- To place order with vendor on store purchases.
- To raise “Purchase Request Form” for store items in accordance to the requirement.
- To assist accounting personnel in periodic physical inventories of storeroom count and operating supplies.
- To check and verify all goods received to ensure they are in accordance to the purchase specifications (example: food, beverage, cigarette, general items, engineering, direct purchase items etc.).
- To advise Cost Control Officer and Purchasing Executive for any variance in goods ordered Verses goods delivered in terms of quality and quantity.
- To forward the goods either to the storeroom or if direct issued items straight to the department concerned.
- To update Bin Card on timely basis for any merchandise entering and issuing from the stores.
- To tidy and arrange goods stored in storeroom in proper order and issue items in FIFO rotation to minimize wastage and spoilage.
- Accountable for any difference in physical store inventories with book figures.
- To update and prepare month end store balances report and to resolve any reconciliation.
- To update slow moving items listing to Cost Control Officer on quarterly basis.
- Implement proper controls in maintaining securities of storage areas at all times.
- To maintain proper filing and records of stores, receiving and cost control documents.
- To ensure cleanliness of receiving bay.
**Salary**: RM1,700.00 per month
