**As a Appian **, this is what you’ll be doing:
**Role responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing and deployment using low-code/no-code platforms and tools.
- Work with stakeholders to understand and refine scope, plans, deliverables and timelines for development projects.
- Work with senior technical team members to finalise technical design specifications, develop and deploy bug fixes, enhancements and new features.
- Monitor the performance of the technical solutions, investigate and resolve technical problems within reasonable turnaround times.
- Build and retain organisational knowledge within the team on emerging tools, techniques, technologies and practices that maintain the forward development of our technology stack, including achieving appropriate certifications as required. Collaborate with UX/UI specialists, Business Analyst, Product Managers, QA and DevOps team members to deliver outcomes.

AND such other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job purpose and the title of the position. This position may involve work outside of the standard business hours.

**Key skills and experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IS, mathematics, or a closely related field or equivalent demonstrable experience in a Software Developer role.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of software development principles and methodologies. Experience or certification in low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian, Mendix, Outsystems, MS Power Apps will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge in SQL and relational databases will be preferred.
- Resourceful, adaptable and has excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages - C#, Java, Python, JavaScript.
- Experience with development methodology, version control systems and CI/CD processes. Fresh graduates who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
