Project Coordinator

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 0-5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a willingness to learn
- Strong technical aptitude and interest in design, project planning, and construction management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting both Chinese and Malaysian construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings
- Understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes across China and Malaysia
- Knowledge of local building codes, permit requirements, and safety regulations in both China and Malaysia
- Skilled in the use of project management software commonly used in China and Malaysia, such as AutoCAD, Glodon, and Procore
- PMP certification or a desire to obtain it is preferred

Key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating and overseeing technical aspects of construction projects that involve both Chinese and Malaysian stakeholders
- Reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals in accordance with standards from both countries
- Participating in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Identifying and resolving technical issues or conflicts, navigating differences between Chinese and Malaysian practices
- Contributing to project documentation, including meeting minutes and progress reports in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure seamless delivery of projects on time and within budget, bridging the China-Malaysia context
- Receiving technical guidance and training to develop expertise in cross-cultural construction management

Pay: From RM4,200.00 per month
