Assistant Manager, Group Standards

- Senior Manager, Group Standards Procedure and Promotion
**Role Purpose**:
- This role is responsible for implementing, and maintaining document management policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficient and compliant handling of all organizational documents. The Assistant Manager is required to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to document management processes and safety promotion.
**Key Accountability**:
- Assist SM, GSPP to develop and implement document management policies (DCPM), procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assist SM, GSPP to evaluate, select, and implement document management software solutions to optimize document control processes and enhance efficiency.
- Alternate Chairman of Manual Review Council and Policy Review Council for manual review and approval.
- Assist SM, GSPP to define and maintain document control processes for the creation, review, approval, distribution, and archival of documents.
- Ensure proper version control, document numbering, and document naming conventions are followed to facilitate efficient document retrieval and tracking.
- Facilitate Airlines Business (AOC holders) to obtain CAAM manual approval.
- Ensure document control processes comply with relevant CAAM regulatory standards and industry best practices, e.g. IOSA and CAD.
- Collaborate with Compliance teams to support AOC, IOSA, ISAGO and relevant audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions by providing accurate and timely access to controlled documents.
- Qualify as an IOSA auditor.
- Partner with stakeholders from Group, Airlines Business and Aviation Services, to understand document management needs and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Group IT to integrate document management systems with other enterprise systems and ensure data integrity and security.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the document control function.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements, automation initiatives, and technology upgrades.
- Execute strategic safety promotion campaigns and awareness to promote MAG's Safety mission, vision, and key initiatives. e.g. Safety Seminar, Safety Day, Turun Padang and Safety survey.
- Create engaging safety promotion materials, including presentations, videos, and written resources, to educate the workforce on safety best practices.
- Collaborate with external parties, such as regulatory agencies or industry associations, to stay abreast of emerging safety trends and initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of safety promotion efforts and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the MAG by promoting a positive safety culture and recognizing achievements in safety excellence.
**Qualifications & Working Experience**:
- Bachelor in IT, Information Management, or relevant field with 6 years of working experience.
**Personality Traits**:
- Good English Writing and communication skill.
