Job Details: Position : Accounts Clerk Working Hours : Monday '“ Friday (0830 '“ 1800) Working Location : Melaka Job Responsibilities:Perform basic book keeping and accounting entries, assist in data-entry, issue payment vouchers/credit note etc. - To ensure proper maintenance of record, documentation & filling to support all accounting entries. - Maintaining, preparing & monitoring aging receivable & payable reports as well as follow-up for payment. - To handle daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities including preparation and processing of month end journal. - To prepare month-end reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts. - Assist in submission of analyst reports (Profit & Loss, Budget, Billing/Collection and Cash Flow status). - Responsible to liase with auditor, bank officer, tax agent, and others authority body as necessary. - Generate periodic relevant accounting reports and maintain Company's accounting records systematically. - Any other assignments may be assigned from time to time when required. Requirements: Possess at least a SPM/STPM/Certificate/Diploma in related field. - Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoints). - Familiar with SQL/Autocount accounting system will be added advantage. - On-the-job training will be provided. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Able to complete multiple tasks and complete tasks on time with mínimal supervision. - Able to communicate with all levels, assertive and initiative. - Able to work independently, having good work ethics, pleasant personality, positive attitude, self-motivated, trustworthy and resourceful.
