Job Title: Assistant Store Manager - Costume Boutique

Position Overview:
As the Assistant Store Manager at, you will be instrumental in driving sales, maximizing profitability, and ensuring operational excellence. You will lead by example, motivating and empowering the retail team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. If you're passionate about costumes, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we want you to join our team

Key Responsibilities:
Drive Sales and Maximize Profitability:

- Manage and deliver the store's sales performance by implementing effective product and sales strategies.
- Communicate sales goals and targets to the team regularly, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Delivery Operations Excellence:

- Conduct daily briefings with retail staff to communicate targets and highlight priorities for the day.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the Manager to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Maintain strict compliance with the store's standard operating procedures (SOP) to uphold operational standards and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Oversee visual merchandising displays, including promotional and seasonal activities, to enhance the store's appeal and drive sales.
- Prepare monthly reports for Managers, providing insights into sales performance, operational efficiency, and areas for improvement.

Develop Team:

- Supervise and support retail staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Encourage team members to demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, empowering them to take ownership of staff-related matters and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the retail team.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in retail management is an advantage but not necessary
- Minimum 3-5 years of total retail experience
- SPM/Diploma (desirable) in related field or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting sales data and identifying trends.
