We are hiring a technical consultant for our EMEA AP Incubation & Enablement Fraud Team.

The EMEA AP Incubation & Enablement Fraud Team has the mission to enable and support the regional SAS organizations and mentor during implementation projects. Focus of this organization is on knowledge sharing and enablement, leading delivery of first projects of a kind, but not replacing local Professional Services teams in regular implementation work.

**As a Fraud Technical Consultant, your role**:

- Learns new solutions developed by SAS in the Fraud and Security Intelligence domain, communicate with SAS R&D and product management and global fraud domain teams - in order to anticipate implementation challenges, identify gaps and adopt our delivery approaches and assets to optimize implementation projects and mitigate delivery risks.
- Takes architecture or technical leadership in project delivery of “first of a kind” projects and replicating the implementation throughout the EMEA/AP region.
- Interacts with customers during delivery of services in alignment with regional consulting teams. These are usually banks and financial institutions - for our banking fraud solutions, and manufacturing, telco and other industries customers for procurement integrity fraud solutions.
- Support local delivery teams by taking ownership of strategic project activities and deliverables, finding and connecting internal and external experts and coaching/mentoring the local PSD teams to become self-sufficient.
- Provide re-usable content, standards, accelerators etc. to regional consulting teams. Use existing content where review proofs this content to be relevant, harvest or build when the content is not available. Maintain and update content when needed.
- Participating in enablement and training for local SAS delivery teams and partners
- Support sales opportunities by providing input on architecture definition, project definition, estimates, project plans and supporting customized demo in incubation areas to complement SAS local presales teams efforts where needed.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum of five years relevant experience in a Technical Consultant / IT designer, IT Architect / Solution / Industry Consultant or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in technical university, Computer Science, Telecommunication or related fields.
- Experience and skills in implementing technical and business solutions to solve complex business problems in business intelligence/analytics/data integration/data warehousing/fraud/AML/compliance areas.
- Ability to work with database query languages.
- Cloud fundamentals (private cloud or public cloud providers)
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Good problem solving, organizational, decision-making written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in working and communicating with other cultures.
- Travel as business requirements we anticipate as around 25% of total time in EMEA AP.
- Creativity and agility will be required on a daily basis.
- Technical skills of SQL, Python, SAS4GL, Unix/Linux Bash, any ETL tool/language are preferred.
- Technical skills of Oracle, Postgres, RedHat, cloud ecosystem, SAS code or SAS products are preferred
- Fluent in English
