**Primary Objective**:

- Assist in the execution of audit plan/ other assignments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Planning
- Perform risk assessment on relevant units within Audit Universe to identify auditable units for annual audit plan.
- Prepare the budgeted mandays and manpower required for each of the auditable units included in the annual audit plan.

Execution
- Lead and execute audit assignments on Basel II, Basel III, MFRS 9, Risk Informed Pricing (“RIP”) or functional audits as outlined in the approved Audit Plan.
- Review the workdone by the teams to ensure they carry out audits in accordance with the audit programs and check the compliance with BNM requirements, Basel II/III requirements and the Bank’s internal requirements.
- Monitor the progress of the team to ensure completion of audit assignments within the budgeted timeline.
- Participate in product/ policy/ process review and provide value-added recommendations if any.
- Participate in Basel related projects and provide consultative advice to ensure key internal controls are in place.
- Raise audit findings and/or review the team’s audit findings to ensure quality issues, appropriate root causes and value added recommendations raised.
- Attend end-of-audit discussion with auditees.
- Prepare draft audit reports for review by FA Head and finalize the audit reports based on the feedback/inputs by FA Head for subsequent review/clearance by FG Head and concurrence by GCIA.
- Follow-up with auditees on the progress of rectification actions on audit findings.
- Attend to ad-hoc assignments or meetings as directed by the FA Heads, FG Heads or Group CIA.
- Timely update of Electronic Working Paper (“EWP”) in Audit Management System (“AMS”) and/or monitor the progress of EWP update by the teams in AMS.
- Update Audit Programs with the relevant guidelines from time to time.
- Train/guide the teams in carrying out audit assignments and provide feedback to FA Head on the team’s performance.
- Assist FA Head in the preparation of Capex and Opex budgets.
- Requirements

**Requirements**:
Bachelor Degree - Degree in Applied Statistic, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics or Accounting..
- CBA, BKA or relevant AICB certification.

At least 5 years’ experience in Basel II, Basel III or MFRS 9 preferably in credit risk modeling or model validation.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of internal control principles / practices, banking activities, risk management, credit evaluation, corporate governance and statutory regulations.
