About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Specialist to join our team in Group Internal Audit's Audit Analytics function. This role has been instrumental in using analytics and digital capabilities to improve the quality of audits and efficiencies.

The successful candidate will assist in the execution of analytics strategy and help drive innovation in the function. The goal is to enhance the department's data analytics capability, innovate and optimize the use of data throughout the audit cycle including the development of effective continuous monitoring strategies.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive innovation, identify risks and gain insights across the bank's audit risk areas using analytics.
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing and documentation of analytical procedures (includes data sourcing, data preparation, data transformation, and modelling) to assist in population and scoping analysis, sampling, testing, and issue impact justification.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of effective continuous monitoring and auditing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics).
