About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on significant responsibility for the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of a full set of accounts. You will be involved in all aspects of accounting, from reviewing inputs from other processes that impact the General Ledger like Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, to ensuring statutory compliance in respect of GST, direct & indirect tax returns, and accounts filings.

The successful candidate will have experience with ERP systems (Oracle JDE preferred) and proficiency in using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets. They will also have strong analytical skills with good leadership qualities, good communication and interpersonal skills with command over the English language, and the ability to read and write Mandarin.

  • Maintain company full set of accounts in a timely, complete and accurate manner.
  • Review work of external service providers such as payroll vendors, tax agents, company secretary and auditors.
  • Maintain complete and accurate record of fixed assets.
  • Ensure all prepayments and accruals are accurately calculated and recorded on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare GST/VAT and all other tax returns.
  • Perform monthly financial analysis for reporting packs.
  • Prepare annual audited accounts for the legal entity.
  • Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliation.
  • Prepare annual tax computation, deferred tax computation.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
