ZALORA Group is Asia's leading online fashion, beauty, and lifestyle destination. We are looking for an experienced Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team in KL Eco City office.
About the Role:
This role will be responsible for performing end-to-end payroll operations and planning for Zalora Malaysia. The successful applicant is expected to work in the office based at KL Eco City, with periodic travels expected to Zalora Fulfilment Center at Section 23, Shah Alam (minimum 3 days per month) for team meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To compile payroll information collected from key stakeholders to ensure monthly payroll processes are completed on time.
- To ensure all necessary approvals and signatures are in order so that the monthly payroll run is completed in accordance with the stipulated payroll processing timeline.
- To update the HRIS for all data related to payroll matters.
- To support in the preparation of periodic payroll reports for stakeholder review.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and all related transactions.
- Assist in responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns regarding employee wages and statutory deductions.
- Takes the initiative to stay abreast of any payroll key trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and any new technologies within the employment law domain.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of work experience in an HR generalist role specifically specializing in payroll.
- Possess exposure and working knowledge of HRIS and any other HR databases.
- Possess good communication skills, is analytical, and meticulous with data.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and be a great team player.
