The Centre Director is responsible for the overall business operations, academic programme, and management of the language centre. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop centre plans, manage a team, and ensure academic standards and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Business Operations: Proactively report P&L status against financial objectives, identify anomalies, and develop and meet KPI targets.
- Academic Management: Develop and conduct the academic programme, hire and train instructional staff, and maintain instructional materials and budgets.
- Team Management: Foster teamwork, lead, mentor, and guide staff, and promote good personnel relations and compliance with Human Resources policies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop centre plans, define ways to increase customer satisfaction, and maintain lasting stakeholder relationships.
- Education: Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of management experience, including managing a programme with full supervisory responsibilities.
- Skills: Business management acumen, decision-making ability, excellent communication and organisational skills, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
This role operates in a professional office environment, and the employee is required to talk or hear regularly, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
