We are seeking an experienced and driven project manager to oversee construction and development projects from initiation to completion. As a Construction Project Management Specialist, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to drive successful project delivery.
    • Oversee the planning and design phases, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impacts.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment and timely progress.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and all project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Construction Oversight:
    • Monitor and supervise all construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to specifications, maintaining high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct site inspections to evaluate progress, quality, and safety standards, addressing any challenges promptly to maintain project momentum.
  • Budget and Cost Control:
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and tracking expenditures to identify opportunities for cost savings.
    • Track and report project financials, identifying areas for improvement to optimize project performance.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure projects comply with all local building codes, regulations, and safety standards, adhering to relevant laws and industry best practices.
    • Prepare detailed progress reports and present updates to senior management, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to achieve objectives, fostering collaboration and driving project success.
    • Motivate and mentor team members to maintain high performance levels, promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
    • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are advantageous in this role.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5-8 years of experience in construction project management, preferably within the property development sector.
    • A proven track record of managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects is essential.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management tools is crucial for success in this role.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills enable effective risk management and issue resolution.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills facilitate collaboration with stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) supports efficient project execution and data analysis.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is vital for delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is necessary for ensuring project compliance and mitigating potential risks.
    • Willingsness to travel to project sites as required enables hands-on project oversight and stakeholder engagement.
