About the Role
At TMF Group, we're seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll services team, you'll be responsible for supporting junior and experienced colleagues in delivering high-quality payroll services to our clients. Your primary focus will be on meeting compliance requirements, processing payrolls, remittances, and filings with tax authorities and pension providers. You'll also supervise and train colleagues, ensuring accurate and timely task completion. Our ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and communication skills, and fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet payroll compliance requirements by accurately processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls, remittances, and filings.
  2. Supervise, train, and allocate tasks to colleagues, maintaining overall responsibility for task accuracy and completeness.
  3. Meet deadlines for client tasks, performing duties in compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
  4. Provide data and answer audit queries, preparing statutory returns as required.
  5. Process, payment, reconciliation, and reporting of benefits, such as health insurance and pensions.

Requirements
We're looking for someone with an IPASS/CIPP or equivalent qualification, substantial experience in fast-paced payroll positions, and a detailed knowledge of PAYE, PRSI/NI, and Revenue's Online Service. Familiarity with payroll systems like Megapay Sage Micropay is essential. Strong resourcefulness, independence, and problem-solving abilities are necessary. Fluency in English is mandatory.
