Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Compliance Manager to join our team at Top Glove. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social management systems at our factories, planning and conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with labor practices and social compliance codes of conduct.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement social management systems at factories to ensure compliance with labor practices and social compliance codes of conduct.
  2. Plan and conduct internal audits to identify gaps in social compliance and prepare reports for corrective and preventive actions.
  3. Coordinate with factories for corrective and preventive actions and conduct follow-up audits to verify the effectiveness of these actions.
  4. Identify the latest information on legal requirements and social compliance codes of conduct and ensure that our organization is in compliance.
  5. Handle external social audits as the lead auditee, coordinating safety, environmental, and HR aspects.
  6. Conduct social compliance training for employees and business partners.
  7. Conduct business partners' social audits at selected suppliers' plants.
  8. Main document controller of all social compliance audit records and procedures.
  9. Analyze all audit results and implement necessary actions to resolve compliance issues and interpret complex regulations to ensure adherence in the organization.
  10. Manage internal and external communication about social compliance initiatives and allegations.
  11. Coordinate with marketers, customers, factories, and audit companies to schedule social audits.
Requirements
  1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any field, or equivalent from reputable universities.
  2. Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
  3. Results-oriented, strong follow-up, and good negotiation skills.
  4. Pleasant personality and able to interact with all levels of people.
