Credit management is a critical aspect of financial institutions, and as a Collection Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that delinquent accounts are managed effectively to prevent control flow through.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage unsecured and secured accounts in the Debt Manager Collection System to achieve targeted delinquencies.
- Call on 1 to 29 days delinquent and over limit unsecured and secured accounts to secure payments.
- Follow up with borrowers to ensure timely payments.
- Handle customer inquiries, requests for interest waivers, and complaints in a professional manner.
**Requirements:**
- Possess strong persuasive, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Have good spoken English.
- Ability to speak other languages and dialects is an added advantage.
- Customer-oriented with good customer service skills.
- Experience in collections/customer services is preferred.
