Settlements Negotiator Job Description

Hiredly X is seeking an experienced Settlements Negotiator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating settlements with customers and working with repossessors to find solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Negotiate with customers to secure settlements on written-off accounts.
  2. Contact customers to gather information about untraceable vehicles and persuade them to surrender the vehicles voluntarily.
  3. Coordinate with repossessors to take proactive action in repossession and disposal of untraceable vehicles.
  4. Monitor repayment of customers enrolled in existing settlement schemes and follow up to ensure timely payments.
  5. Manage inbound inquiries related to written-off accounts.
  6. Provide recommendations for feasible legal actions and participate in their execution.
Requirements
  • A minimum Bachelor of Degree qualification in Business Administration, Banking, or Finance, or relevant working experience.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in banking and finance.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ad hoc travelling is required as part of the role.
