  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and other statutory requirements.
  • Advise the Board and senior management on corporate governance and legal issues.
  1. Licenses and Intellectual Property
  • Oversee renewal of certifications under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
  • Manage trademark registrations and monitor for misuse.
  • Handle copyrighted material licenses and regulatory compliance for licensing obligations.
  • Facilitate new licensing and intellectual property registrations.
  1. Contract Management
  • Review, draft, and revise contracts and agreements including Doctors' Contracts & policies.
  • Advise on contractual obligations and risk management.
  • Maintain and manage contract records and provide compliance guidance.
  1. Medico-Legal Issues
  • Collaborate with medical and legal teams on medico-legal matters.
  • Report potential medico-legal cases to insurance and manage claims.
  1. Litigation
  • Coordinate with panel counsels on litigation matters.
  • Advise the management and Board on potential legal actions.
  1. Ancillary Services
  • Support the resolution of complaints and risk management.
  • Provide advisory services to other departments and contribute to the Risk Management Committee.
Requirements
  1. Qualified member of the Malaysian Bar.
  2. Knowledgeable in the Companies Act 2016, Malaysian law, and corporate practice.
  3. Minimum 5 years' experience in legal practice, including litigation and contract review.
  4. Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in complex organizational management.
  5. Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  6. Positive attitude with effective problem-solving skills.
