The Sales Engineer is responsible for both sales and pre-sales, providing technical solutions. The ideal candidate will provide customers with technical advice on the use of Leviat brand products and exploit market opportunities leading to increased brand awareness. They will offer options and recommend safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to problems encountered by specifiers and end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales experience in the construction industry, preferably with direct sales to Precast/Pre-stressed customers, contractors and/or fabricators.
- Ensure assigned markets meet or exceed sales goals by proactively pursuing projects and industry stakeholders.
- Create and implement sales/marketing strategies for customers to increase brand and product market share. Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects and researching sales options.
- Provide timely resolution of product and sales issues within assigned territories. Excellent communication skills to coach and educate customers, dealers, or inside sales teams on products.
- Deliver solutions for customers through consultative selling and leveraging broader capabilities of Leviat. Train customers on features, benefits, and installation of new and existing products.
- Innovative spirit to develop organisational growth concepts and ideas.
- Identify product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, benchmarking practices, and participating in events.
- Maintain quality service by establishing organisation standards.
