About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Petroleum Production Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our global Technical and Operation teams, you will work closely with engineers and operators to analyze well/field performance and advise on production optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in petroleum engineering, with experience in oil and gas industry specializing in either Petroleum Engineering, Production Engineering or Production Technology. The successful candidate will also possess operational experiences in inflow/outflow/flowline modeling, production well testing and allocation principles, network modeling and facilities operations.

The role involves collaborating with adjacent disciplines (Reservoir, Facilities or Process, Wells, Operations, Flow Assurance) to execute opportunities for production debottlenecking, production enhancement and idle well restoration. You will also support Operation teams for operations schedule optimization, capacity enhancement, production planning and downtime optimization.

Responsibilities include conducting regular system surveillance for production and injection wells to identify optimization opportunities, assessing impact of identified system constraints, monitoring and troubleshooting facility balance at field/platform/well level, and conducting screening economic evaluations of well intervention and stimulation operations.
