Key Responsibilities
  • Site Selection and Acquisition
    • Identify and assess potential locations for data center development, considering critical factors such as infrastructure, environment, and regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct feasibility assessments and due diligence to evaluate site risks.
    • Coordinate with local consultants and independently evaluate timelines for land readiness and project progression.
    • Negotiate land acquisitions, leases, and other real estate agreements to secure optimal development sites.
  • Design and Infrastructure
    • Oversee infrastructure design to meet technical standards and ensure scalability for future growth.
    • Work with design and engineering teams on detailed plans for systems such as electrical, mechanical, and structural.
    • Ensure infrastructure designs leverage the latest technology and sustainable best practices.
  • Construction Oversight
    • Manage the construction phase, ensuring compliance with plans and quality standards.
    • Address issues arising during construction to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Relations
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, local authorities, community stakeholders, and utilities.

    • Champion sustainable development practices and integrate green building standards.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to foster continuous improvement.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate); advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in site development or project management, particularly in the data center industry.
    • Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
    • Expertise in site selection, acquisition, permitting, and construction, particularly across the APAC region.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Experience with sustainability practices is advantageous.
