Job Title:

Accounting and Finance Leader

Job Summary:

The Accounting and Finance Leader will be responsible for leading the accounting team and overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing a team and leading financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage the accounting team, providing leadership, training, and mentorship
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial management systems
  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
  • Coordinate and lead external audits
  • Optimize cash flow management and treasury functions
  • Collaborate with department heads to improve financial performance and efficiency
  • Implement cost-saving measures and identify revenue enhancement opportunities
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and financial advisors

Requirements:

  • At least Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Extensive experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Proficiency in advanced accounting software and financial management systems
  • Strong understanding of hospitality industry financial practices and trends
