About the Role

The Wildlife Protection Specialist will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, collecting data, and analyzing results to inform conservation strategies. This role will also involve collaborating with stakeholders to promote conservation efforts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Fieldwork: Conduct camera-trapping, sign surveys, and wildlife patrolling to collect data on tiger and prey populations.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data collected from fieldwork to identify trends and patterns, and inform conservation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and NGOs to promote conservation efforts and raise awareness about the importance of tiger conservation.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on project progress, outcomes, and lessons learned.
Requirements
  • A degree in Wildlife Conservation, Ecology, or a related field. An advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in conservation research or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
