Job Outline

Key Objectives

  1. Lead the financial closing process (IFRS and local) and collaborate with the GBS team.
  2. Develop and submit financial statements and perform cost analysis.
  3. Comply with group standards and policies.
  4. Meet all reporting requirements from the region and group.
  5. Analyze the region's financial performance and provide actionable insights.
  6. Collaborate with the GBS controlling team to establish regional standards.
  7. Communicate the region's financial performance to the Regional CFO and Regional Management.
  8. Support management with ad-hoc analysis as required.
  9. Oversee sales controlling, SCM controlling, overhead expense controlling, and operations controlling.
  10. Facilitate monthly business reviews with countries to ensure financial targets are met.
  11. Identify and report risks and opportunities to the regional management team.
  12. Conduct post-investment reviews for M&A activities (if applicable).
  13. Assess financing requests and dividend payouts.

Leadership and People Development

  1. Develop and guide the GBS controlling staff in areas like succession planning, training, coaching, communication, organizational development, and people development.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.
  • Professional accountancy certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.

Work Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in accounting and system development in an industrial environment.
