About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our Engineering Systems team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd level support for our global Engineering Based Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Operations: Provide 2nd level support, including 24x7 rotational on call, to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Solution Administration: Implement service requests and changes to fulfill user and customer needs, ensuring seamless system maintenance and operation.
  • Proactive Problem Management: Drive proactive problem management, evaluate and deploy new measures/solutions to improve operational stability and efficiency.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Define and set up effective systems for fault detection and monitoring to ensure early proactive failure detection.
  • User Requirement Engineering: Perform user requirement engineering, FIT & UAT, including test case creation and test environment setup, to ensure high-quality system delivery.
  • Software and Technology Refresh: Execute software and technology refresh activities to ensure systems remain up-to-date and efficient.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing, system/IT support, and user requirement handling.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge in data transfer, file processing methodology, and system interfaces/integration. Experience in application maintenance and/or development in operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, Perl scripts) and database systems (Oracle PL/SQL, SQL scripts, MS SQL).
  • ITIL Certification: ITIL practical experience in incident management, problem management, event management, change and release management.
