Project Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Manager Assistant to join our team at Arula Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Project Managers and ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers in planning, organizing, and implementing project operations and administration, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Asset Management: Take care of company assets and materials at project sites, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper utilization.
- Financial Management: Work with Project Managers to determine revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor payment collection.
- Communication and Liaison: Serve as a connecting reference point between the branch and HQ in the absence of Project Managers, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Progress Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Site Meetings and Visits: Attend project site meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Cost Management: Assist Project Managers in maintaining and improving the cost position of the branch through continuous improvement plans.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 1-2 years of experience in the engineering/construction field as an Operation/Project Engineer (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Ms Word, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Excel, Ms Project) and software such as AutoCAD or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a high level of integrity.
- An organized approach and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Willingness to relocate according to project locations.
