Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and solutions to all World Courier customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded. Key accountabilities include processing client bookings, managing and resolving routine client issues, and providing information and assistance as required.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments using World Courier's systems
  • Answer telephone calls and provide information and assistance as required
  • Identify customer transport needs and requirements
  • Advise clients and shippers on estimated pick-up and delivery timings
  • Liaise with agents and service providers to arrange suitable pick-up and delivery times
  • Responsible for service recovery from internal process investigation to client management
  • Provide support to business development from a service perspective
  • Responsible for regular and ad-hoc reporting needs for customer service and operations
  • Responsible for site visits for service set-up and maintenance
  • Prepare quotations for customers and prospects
  • Perform additional tasks as required
  • Ensure company processes and quality standards are adhered to avoid service incidents
Requirements
  • Minimum secondary education level with a pass in English
  • Preferred tertiary or diploma education and above
  • Understanding of imports and exports processes and statutory requirements
Skills and Knowledge
  • Service and customer-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written English
  • 3 years customer service experience
