Job Summary
Maybank is seeking an experienced Deposit Growth Specialist to contribute to the bank's business expansion efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving deposit portfolio growth, developing client relationships, and delivering targeted sales initiatives.
About the Role
- Lead the acquisition of new-to-bank commercial Current Accounts and promote Maybank's suite of deposit products and services.
- Manage existing client relationships, providing value-added services and tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Pursue opportunities to expand clients' share of wallet through cross-selling deposit products like Work+, Merchant services, and Digital banking solutions.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new foreign exchange customers and enhance Monthly Transactions per User (M2E) and Monthly Users (M2U) in the business segment.
- Implement salary crediting programs for individual and corporate clients, including Work+ Company NOC, to improve engagement and account utilization.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in client acquisition and business development in banking or financial services.
- Experience in managing and growing deposit portfolios.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proactive approach to business development.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management.
- Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Dynamic, motivated, and adept at identifying growth opportunities.
