Key Responsibilities

  • System Architecture Design and Planning: Develop overall application architecture for intelligent manufacturing systems, integrating MOM components such as MES, QMS, LES, EAM, and EMS.
  • Technology Evaluation and Selection: Assess and recommend emerging technologies and tools relevant to intelligent manufacturing and MOM applications, evaluating new software frameworks, database management systems, middleware, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, software developers, and quality assurance teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Analyze and optimize performance of manufacturing application systems, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, latency issues, and other technical challenges that impact system efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in application architecture design, with a significant portion dedicated to intelligent manufacturing and MOM systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex applications in a manufacturing context, from initial design through to production deployment and maintenance.
  • Deep understanding of MOM systems and their underlying technologies, proficiency in at least one major MES, QMS, EAM, or EMS platform, and experience integrating multiple such systems.
  • Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to enterprise application development, such as Java, Python, and their associated web frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and SQL querying, with experience in NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and containerization technologies for scalable and flexible application deployment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional technical teams.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to quickly analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of the intelligent manufacturing industry, including production processes, automation technologies, quality control methods, and supply chain management.
