About the Role

The Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for performing Record-to-Report (R2R) activities in accordance with agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational Activities: Maintain fixed asset and general accounting master data, as well as process transactions.
  • Closing Accounts: Ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Management Reports: Prepare entity level and group consolidated level management reports, including preliminary results and entity level management reporting reconciliations/analysis.
  • Budget Control: Support budget control processes for the business group.
  • Statutory Accounts: Perform entity level and group consolidated level statutory accounts by executing consolidation tasks in the consolidation system.
  • System Control: Maintain Consolidation master data, consolidation settings, and posting validation according to Business Groups Statutory/management requirements.
  • Analytical Review: Perform analytical review of Interco Analysis, Consolidated financial statements, and reporting.
  • Audit Support: Support yearly group audit and respond to audit queries.
  • Analysis and Ad-hoc Requests: Support analysis and ad-hoc requests from the business group.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure regular updates of financial accounting/group consolidation/reporting systems used to ensure system master data is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and procedures.
