ResponsibilitiesThe Quality and Reliability Engineering Team analyzes the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. This includes designing, recommending revisions and installing quality control systems, developing and documenting analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components, and conducting analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment.
Skills and Qualifications- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a Team environment.
- Ability to work under supervision and with clearly defined project steps.
- Possess knowledge of new product development processes and workflow.
- Able to work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules.
- Knowledge and experience with TS16949 and ISO9001: 2000.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic flowcharting ability and procedure analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical process control.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Data analysis skills coupled with above-average report writing, chart development abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows based Applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
