Job Overview

This position is a key leadership role in our organization, overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the shared services functions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or financial management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports for businesses/clients under the shared services, providing insights and recommendations to senior management regarding cost management, financial performance, and resource allocation.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, establish and maintain financial controls and procedures, ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, policies, and financial reporting standards, and support internal audit processes.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow for businesses/clients' operations, optimize working capital and cash management, identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements, monitor expenses, and recommend actions to reduce costs and improve profitability.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: High level of attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and take initiative, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
