We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Alfa Laval Corporate AB. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects to customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) prior to commissioning on site.
  • Responsible for verifying that the systems and plants at customer sites are ready for start-up, including I/O tests and mechanical inspections.
  • Perform start-up and commissioning according to specified procedures, including testing of functionality and completion of SAT tests.
  • Report results and provide feedback to the project team.
  • Train customers' operators and hand over the installation.
  • Assist project managers to ensure that plants and systems delivered to customers meet specifications when shipped from AL.
  • Participate in project reviews to ensure that experience from previous commissioning jobs is applied to new projects and new standard concepts.
  • Execute performance reviews of installations already handed over to customers.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced commissioning engineers, reviewing the quality of their work and helping them resolve problems and issues.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience working as a commissioning or service engineer in a technical area and applicable electrical education (B.Sc.).
  • Motivated by challenges and able to maintain high performance while working under pressure.
  • Cooperative team player with fluent English communication skills.
  • Systematic working style and solution-finding ability.
  • Ability to structure and organize work and commit to delivering agreed results.
  • Customer-centric approach and positive attitude toward customer service and solution-finding ability.
  • Good knowledge in electrical engineering/PLC systems.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Fluent in reporting and documenting work and able to use MS-Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in steam systems.
  • Mandatory education in electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience in burners.
  • Special skills in energy technology, thermodynamics, flow dynamics, and/or water treatment.
  • Experience of working abroad and traveling.
