Job Overview:

The Audit Associate role at AdrianYeo is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about audit and finance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute audit engagements in adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Compute detailed tax computation.
  • Prepare audited financial statements.
  • Self-manage jobs assigned, ensuring completion within the time frame.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit workpapers, findings, and reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with audit methodology.

Requirements:

  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • For experienced hires, relevant experience in the field of Audit is required.
  • For fresh graduates or ACCA graduates, a good understanding of the role of an audit associate is required. Prior internship experience is a plus but not compulsory.
  • Good technical knowledge in ISA, MFRS, and MPERS.
  • Understanding and knowledge of company tax.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and other laws and regulations governing business entities in Malaysia.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • CA(M)/ACCA/CPA is a plus but not required.
  • Pleasant, presentable, and possess good communication skills.
  • Confident in dealing with clients.
