We are looking for an experienced IT Support professional to join our team. As an IT Support specialist, you will be responsible for managing daily IT operations, overseeing IT project implementation, and ensuring smooth IT system performance.
This role involves developing and implementing effective IT security strategies, maintaining IT inventory, and creating and maintaining technical documentation. You will also work closely with our IT team to roll out IT systems and applications and manage third-party service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain IT inventory, lifecycle management, and technical documentation for shipboard systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures for shipboard software and system maintenance.
- Develop and implement effective IT security strategies to protect the company's assets.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong knowledge of workplace systems, network infrastructure, and IT operations.
- Proficiency in Windows configurations, administration, and issue resolution.
- Proven experience in planning, executing, and deploying IT projects successfully.
- Certifications & Experience - ITIL certification required; minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with fluency in English (written & spoken).
- Expertise in backup solutions, cybersecurity, and system maintenance.
