Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading and coordinating complex actuarial projects involving multiple stakeholders and requiring advanced technical expertise.
  • Providing expert actuarial advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on matters related to general insurance, life insurance, pensions and investment.
  • Developing and implementing actuarial models and tools to help clients achieve their strategic goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining and improving actuarial systems and processes to ensure they are efficient, effective and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs.
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or any other related quantitative fields.
  • Advanced degree or certification in actuarial science, mathematics or statistics (e.g. FIA, FCAS, ACAS).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in general insurance or consulting/regional roles, preferably in a leadership position. More experienced candidates may be considered for more senior positions.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality actuarial projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Good knowledge of actuarial software and tools, including spreadsheet applications such as Excel.
