About the Team
The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a dynamic group of collaborators dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams.
What You'll Do
We're seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to drive Airwallex's sales pipeline growth engine. You will engage with prospects to qualify needs, think creatively about outreach strategies, and manage early sales funnel activities. A strong interest in technology and/or financial services is essential. Fluency in English is required, and Mandarin fluency is an added bonus.
This role is based in KL, Malaysia, and comes with a significant upside for won opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning to qualify interest and viability.
- Move qualified leads through the buyer journey with the goal of booking product demonstrations.
- Execute 'plays' or designed touch points in a customer journey through cold calls, emails, chat, and social media.
- Present product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
- Effectively work through lead lists meeting/exceeding SLAs, consistently update activity and contact information within the CRM system, and support weekly reporting efforts.
- Inform and recommend outreach strategies and best practices by testing various touch points.
